  2. এই tag গুলো সাধারনত জোড়া জোড়া হয়ে থাকে। <p> and </p>
  3. জোড়া tag এর প্রথমটিকে বলা হয়, opening tag অথবা start tag, এর শেষেরটিকে বলা হয়, closing tag বা end tag.
  4. কিছু elements  আছে যাদের start tag আছে কিন্তু end tag নাই। এই ধরনের tag গুলোকে empty tag বলা হয়। যেমনঃ <br/>  পরবর্তীতে এগুলো সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হবে ইনশাল্লাহ।

HTML elements দ্বারা মুলত একটি HTML document গঠিত। HTML element এর সাধারনত তিনটা অংশ থাকে। ১.start tag ২.end tag এবং ৩. contents start tag এবং closing tag সম্পর্কে ইতোমধ্যে বলা হয়েছে। সুতরাং,start tag এবং end tag এর মধ্যবর্তী যা কিছু আছে সবকিছুকে বলা হয় contents. এর, start tag হতে end tag পর্যন্ত সবকিছুই হচ্ছে element.
