তার প্রতিষ্ঠানের মৌলিক পণ্য বা সেবা কি? সে কোন ধরনের কাষ্টমারের চাহিদা মিটায়? কোন সমস্যার সমাধানের জন্য তার প্রতিষ্ঠনটি কাজ করে যাচ্ছে? কোন কোন কর্ম পদ্ধতি অন্যদের থেকে তাদেরকে আলাদা করেছে? – এই বিষয়গুলো জানলে ডিজাইনের কাজে লাগতে পারে।

৫. তার ওয়েবে কোন ধরনের ভিজিটর আসবে?

কোন কোন ওয়েবসাইটে দেশি ভিজিটরকে টারগেট করা হয়। কোন কোনটাতে বিদেশি কোন এলাকার লোকজনকে টারগেট করে কাজ করা হয়। কোন কোন ক্ষেত্রে একটা নির্দিষ্ট বয়সের লোকদের টারগেট করে কাজ করা হয়। আর তার উপরে ডিজাইনের অনেকগুলো বিষয়ই নির্ভর করতে পারে। যেমন- বাচ্চাদের জন্য তৈরী ওয়েবসাইটে বাচ্চাদের পছন্দের থিম ও ডিজাইন দিতে হবে। কোন প্রফেশনাল বা কর্পোরেট জন্য সাইট ডিজাইন করতে গেলে অবশ্যই ডিজাইনের চেয়ে তথ্যের গুরুত্ব বেশি পাবে। ওয়েব এপ্লিকেশন বানানোর ক্ষেত্রে ডিজাইনটির চেয়ে প্রোগ্রামিং অংশটি বেশি নিখুত হতে হয়।

প্রতিষ্ঠানের অনেক বিষয় আছে যা সাধারনত ওয়েবসাইটে প্রকাশ করা হয় না। একটি ফার্নিচারের প্রতিষ্ঠানের ওয়েবসাইটে সব ফার্নিচারের ছবি থাকতে হবে তা নয়, একজন গায়কের ওয়েবে সব গান দেওয়া যাবে না। আর কি কি বিষয় প্রকাশ করা হবে না তাও জেনে নিন। এতে করে প্রতিষ্ঠান ও ওয়েবসাইটের ভবমুর্তির জন্য ভাল হয়।
